Seattle Film Institute is committed to providing an innovative and career-focused education that meets the need of our students wherever they reside.  In support of that mission, SFI offers both On-Campus and Low-Residency options.

• On-Campus: attend classes on-ground at SFI

Attend SFI as part of an on-ground cohort learning and working together in a uniquely collaborative environment.  Our hands-on training and project-based curriculum provide the skills and abilities needed to pursue your creative goals.

• Low Residency: attend SFI from wherever you are

SFI Low Residency provides the convenience of online classes with the hands-on training and camaraderie of an on-ground cohort program.  Students complete the majority of their course-work via synchronous ZOOM classes and come to Seattle once every quarter for 3-4 day residencies held on-campus at SFI. The residencies provide hands-on training and the opportunity for group projects and collaboration.  This innovative and flexible option is ideal for students who live outside the Seattle area or who prefer not to commute.
