July 30 6pm-7:30pm Pacific Time – Scotty Milder Writing the Horror Film This class will cover the fundamentals of writing within the horror genre. Topics covered will be Stephen King's three levels of terror, the difference between horror and suspense, how to approach common horror tropes from a fresh and unpredictable perspective, and the creation of dread and suspense on the page.
